Providing Better Smiles to Calgary & nearby areas of Alberta
Dental implants can last for a lifetime. To learn more, call Calgary dentist Dr. Jennifer Silver at (403) 278-1415 and schedule your consultation today. Dental implants are the only solution for missing teeth with the potential of lasting for a lifetime. Where other options for tooth replacement focus on the tooth itself, dental implants are inserted directly into the bone of the jaw where they replace missing roots. It is this difference that provides many of the benefits offered by dental implants and allows them to outlast options such as dentures and dental bridges.
If you live in Calgary or surrounding parts of Alberta and are missing one or more teeth, call implant dentist Dr. Jennifer Silver at (403) 278-1415 to schedule your initial consultation and learn more.
Extending the Longevity of Your Dental Implants
Once accepted by your jaw as a new tooth root, your dental implant will provide a strong and reliable foundation for a dental crown or other restoration.
You can help ensure your implant continues to serve its purpose by:
- Brushing your teeth with a soft bristled tooth brush after every meal
- Flossing both morning and night
- Maintaining biannual visits with Dr. Jennifer Silver
Adding a WaterPik® or similar device to your daily routine can help extend the longevity of dental implants as well. During your initial consultation, Dr. Silver will cover this in more detail to provide you with the information you will need to keep your implants strong and in place for a lifetime.
