Providing Better Smiles to Calgary & nearby areas of Alberta

Both Invisalign and traditional braces are capable of treating a wide range of teeth alignment issues and bite conditions, but for the right patients Invisalign offers a number of benefits over metal braces.

Calgary dentist Dr. Jennifer Silver will thoroughly assess your condition and help you determine the best treatment option for your unique needs. Please call the Southcentre Dental Clinic at 403-278-1415 to schedule your appointment and learn if you’re a candidate for Invisalign.

For many teenage and adult patients with teeth alignment problems and bite conditions such as overbite, underbite and crossbite, Invisalign features a number of advantages when compared to standard metal braces.

These benefits include:

  • Comfort:
    • The smooth, clear, plastic aligners used in Invisalign treatment are custom-made to fit over your teeth; there are no metal brackets or wires to irritate your gums and cheeks.
  • Convenience:
    • Metal braces limit the types of foods you can eat; Invisalign aligners are removable for meals and make it easy for you to maintain your regular diet.
  • Easy dental hygiene:
    • Without brackets and wires to trap food particles and with easily removable aligners, Invisalign allows you to brush and floss your teeth as you normally would.
  • Aesthetics:
    • Invisalign’s clear plastic aligners are virtually invisible, allowing you to have confidence in your smile during treatment.
