Providing Better Smiles to Calgary & nearby areas of Alberta

It’s very important that your child have early, pleasant exposures to a Calgary dentist’s office. Childhood is when habits are formed, and nothing is more crucial to long-term dental health than good dental habits.

One of the most important aspects of dental hygiene is frequent, regularly scheduled visits to a dentist, so it’s a good idea to get your child acclimated to the routines and procedures of a dental office.

The exact age at which you should bring your child into the office for the first time is not a matter of precision. Some medical authorities recommend you bring your child to the dentist when he’s about one, or no later than six months after his first tooth comes.

Others say two or three is the best age.

Regardless of the precise year, you should work under the maxim that earlier is better. Talk with Dr. Silver about what you and your child can expect at his or her first visit to the dentist.

This first visit is a great opportunity for us to get to know your child and an even better opportunity for your child to get comfortable with us.
