Providing Better Smiles to Calgary & nearby areas of Alberta
The overbite is one of the most common teeth alignment issues dentists and orthodontists see. In the past, overbites have been treated with metal braces, but today many different types of overbites can be treated by Invisalign® as well.
Many patients in Alberta ask us if Invisalign® is an appropriate solution for their overbite. In order to answer this question, you’ll need to come in for an examination. Not all bite and alignment issues are appropriate for Invisalign® treatment. There is much variation in the amount of correction possible depending on the level of your overbite’s severity. Some unique problems may respond better to traditional braces.
You can rest assured Dr. Silver and the rest of our experienced staff at Southcentre Dental Clinic will present you with all of your orthodontic treatment options in detail, explaining the benefits and limitations of each method. Invisalign is a great treatment option that can be just as effective as traditional braces in many different types of cases, but it cannot solve every problem.
If you suffer from an overbite in Alberta and want to find out if you are a candidate for Invisalign®, please contact Southcentre Dental Clinic today to schedule a consultation with Dr. Jennifer Silver.
