Providing Better Smiles to Calgary & nearby areas of Alberta

Porcelain veneers are an innovative, multipurpose cosmetic dentistry treatment that can be used to improve your smile in many different ways. This type of veneer is made from a durable, tooth-colored porcelain material. Porcelain veneers can create a glamorous smile by concealing cosmetic tooth flaws.

Some of the problems that porcelain veneers fix include:

  • Chipped teeth
  • Stained teeth
  • Worn teeth
  • Discolored teeth
  • Crooked teeth
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Uneven tooth length

Porcelain veneers are placed over the front surface of teeth to conceal the cosmetic problems beneath. By gently etching the front surface of the tooth, our dentist prepares the enamel for the veneer. The veneer is then bonded to the enamel, forming a durable bond. A single veneer is intended for use on a single tooth, so you and Dr. Silver will discuss the number of veneers appropriate for your goals. These veneers resist stains and breakage for many years. Some patients have their veneers for 10 years or longer before they need to be replaced. Porcelain veneers can create the gorgeous, white smile you have always wanted.
