The Dangers of Untreated Sleep Apnea
Unlike allergies, sleep apnea is not seasonal, although it may become more intense when the air outside is colder. As symptoms increase, so too does awareness of this dangerous condition, making wintertime an ideal time to seek lasting and noninvasive treatment options to avoid serious complications.
Serious complications linked to sleep apnea include:
- Heart attack and stroke
- Memory loss
- Severe mood swings
- Excessive daytime fatigue
The long-term impacts of sleep apnea range from slight inconveniences to fatal diseases, all of which are unnecessary due to the incredibly simple ways in which this common sleeping disorder can be treated.
